Superior! No kidding. These Ace 55 tomato seed have a high germination rate. I purchased my Ace 55 seeds in the summer of 2020. This spring I got a 95% germination rate. I overwatered them as seedlings and they surviviored damping off.
This spring after transplanting we got serious rain for about 2 months. The Ace 55 had a good survival there too.
Then it turned recently from 75° to 90 90° and Ace 55 is doing great.
Now the taste test on the Ace 55 tomato. The fruit is juicy and sweet. Just enough acid to give it touch of tart. But the tomato flavor is superior to so many I tried last spring.
It beat the Black Krim hands down.
On the wish list for a 2021 Fall crop of Ace 55.
