Supposed to plant mid February but I planted late for Central Florida. Still made lots of beans. Most seeds germinated and produced. Great if you're not very skilled in the garden. Made huge 9in bean pods half inch thick. Husks are stringy, but cut them short and it's not too bad. Keep some for next planting as beans grow like crazy and are full of life. Pollinated by large bumble bees. Put your poles in early and make them tall. Plants moldy and die mid summer in Florida heat and humidity. Plant again in September for winter crop.
