Pea Alaska Seed
The Alaska pea, also known as “earliest of all,” is one of the very first pea varieties that dates back to 1880! These heirloom pea seeds mature in just 56 days, leaving you with delicious, fresh, versatile peas that grow to be around 4 feet tall in almost no time at all, making them the earliest pea of all. They thrive in cool soil, which makes for a wonderful spring or fall planting option. They are historically used for canning or freezing and are a yummy option for split pea soup (if you plan to dry the peas for soup, allow 80 days of maturation). Expect heavy yields of straight, round pods containing five to eight round and smooth peas per pod.
